My name is John Kennah. Between 2000 and 2001 I created this website and our discussion forum as an outreach to followers of William Branham and as a resource of reliable information for anyone wanting to know what it is about his Message that could be so wrong. My objective has been to use both platforms to glorify Jesus Christ by proclaiming His Gospel and by alerting people to the serious errors of teaching, prophecy, and claims of the miraculous associated with the Message of William Branham.
This website is not simply a critique of William Branham’s teachings or the Message movement. Rather, it is a collection of observations I have made from personal study—both while I was in the Message and in the years since I left. What I have discovered has convinced me that William Branham could not have been a true prophet of God and that his Message is not an accurate exposition of sound biblical teaching.
Perhaps you are a follower of the Message, or you know someone who is. You may have questions about the Message that you have longed to ask but were afraid of being judged as a doubter of the prophet—or even worse, as “serpent’s seed.” Do you struggle with certain things William Branham taught that just don’t seem right, but you have no one you can talk to about them? Have you noticed an absence of the “signs following” in your life that Brother Branham said the Bride of Christ would have, and now wonder whether you are even saved? Has the Message church you attend taken control of your life? Do you live in fear that someone will discover your questions and doubts?
Maybe you are not a follower of the Message but have loved ones who are. Friendships may have been severed, or family members may have distanced themselves from you because you do not believe William Branham was a prophet.
If you are a follower of the Message, I hope this website will challenge you to search the Scriptures as the Bereans did, to verify for yourself whether the Message truly lines up with biblical truth (Acts 17:10-11). If you are not a Message believer, perhaps it will give you the insight you need to persuasively warn a friend or relative who follows “the prophet” about the serious errors in his prophecies and teachings. My prayer is that you will in some way benefit from my experience with the Message and that you and yours will find encouragement and a closer, more biblically based walk with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
