About ExaminingBranham.com
Examining the Message of William Branham was created over 25 years ago both as an outreach to followers of William Branham and as a resource of reliable information for anyone wanting to know more about him and his Message. The objective has always been to glorify Jesus Christ by proclaiming His Gospel and by alerting people to the serious errors of teaching, prophecy, and claims of the miraculous in “the Message” which keep many from hearing the true gospel.
ExaminingBranham.com offers a thorough, biblically-based analysis of the Message written from the perspective of John Kennah, a former follower of the Message. Through a careful, Scripture-by-Scripture theological critique, it serves as a valuable resource for several key reasons:
- Explicit focus on the Gospel — It shows how William Branham’s teachings substitute a “different Jesus” and a “different gospel” centered on the recognition of Branham as a prophet, rather than salvation by grace through faith alone.
- The William Branham Quote Book — A large, chronologically and topically indexed catalog of Branham’s actual statements allows readers to compare his words side-by-side with biblical texts without relying on second-hand summaries.
- In-depth coverage of key issues — Detailed discussions of false prophecies, controversial teachings, and questionable issues and events surrounding Branham’s ministry are presented in a clear, easy-to-navigate format.
- Scriptural analysis — A dedicated section analyzes specific Bible passages frequently used in the Message (such as Malachi 4:5,6 and Revelation 10:7) and examines how those interpretations depart from sound Christian exegesis.
